Boston Red Sox offers free tickets to first responders, active and retired military members

FORT MYERS, Fla. — The Boston Red Sox are offering free tickets to the opening of its spring training season to all first responders, active and retired military in Southwest Florida.

That includes police, sheriff's deputies, emergency medical service, fire personnel, and military.

Everyone will get two free tickets with proper identification.

You can pick up the free tickets starting February 3rd.

They will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The Boston Red Sox will play against the Northeastern University Huskies on Friday, February 21st, at Jet Blue Stadium.

Pitchers and catchers hold their first workout on February 12th.

The first full-squad workout will take place on February 17th.
