PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. -- Hendry County detectives are investigating a homicide after a body was found in a canal on Thursday.
The investigation is taking place near the Palm Beach-Hendry county line, about two miles east of Clewiston.
A man who was working in a cane field found the body around noon.
Detectives say that this is an active investigation and are continuing to follow up on all leads.
