PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. -- Construction work on a boat ramp in Port Charlotte is forcing boaters to find alternative plans for the next few days.
According to Charlotte County officials, the Port Charlotte Beach Park boat ramp has been closed since June 24th, due to construction.
Boat ramp access will remain unavailable through June 29.
The Spring Lake Park boat ramp at 3520 Lakeview Boulevard in Port Charlotte will be open for use during this time.
