A Port Charlotte bicyclist is in the hospital right now, after getting hit by a car. Florida Highway Patrol says this happened just after 6:00 p.m on Monday night.
Troopers say Jose Ceron was biking in the right side of Midway Boulevard when a car hit him from behind. Ceron was airlifted to Sarasota Memorial Hospital in critical condition.
Charges may be filed in this case but troopers say Ceron was not wearing any reflective gear. They also tel us he did not have any lights on his bike.
