Hickory Road closed due to construction

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. -- Troopers have shut down Bermont Road in Charlotte County due to a crash with injuries.

The crash is located between State Road 31 and the Glades County Line. It happened at approximately 5:30 a.m.

Florida Highway Patrol says the road is closed until further notice. Drivers should find an alternative route.
