When deputies arrived, they found a white female lying on the pavement. Deputies began rendering first aid and noted the victim had been shot multiple times.

The victim was attending Level one Adult English night classes.

On December 19th the victim had called Pena to complain about him harassing her friends and family.

Through an investigation, detectives were able to obtain security footage of the events that place the Pena at the scene.

Two witnesses witnessed Pena walk from behind a vehicle and begin shooting.

Pena asked a witness to borrow his vehicle before the shooting. Pena then returned the vehicle to the witness after.

The Sheriff located the vehicle and is processing it for evidence associated with the shooting.
