CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- An extensive investigation has led to the arrest of a Cape Coral man for a fatal crash on Veterans Memorial Parkway on Thanksgiving Day.

37-year-old Kenneth Graves is facing one count of Vehicular Homicide.

The crash happened around 3:40 p.m. on Thanksgiving.  Police say Graves was driving west on Veterans Parkway when his car lost traction, hit a median, and went airborne before slamming into an oncoming car and SUV.

The car's driver, 32-year-old Kennya Ojeda, later died from her injuries.

Investigators determined that Graves was found to be at-fault for the traffic crash, and probable cause was established that found he had operated a vehicle in a reckless manner which caused Ojeda's death.

Graves was arrested Wednesday while visiting his probation officer and was booked into the Lee County Jail, where he is being held on no bond.
