Arrest made in fatal shooting outside Fort Myers bar

FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Authorities have made an arrest in the shooting death of a Fort Myers DJ early Saturday morning.

21-year-old Kahleel Perez of Fort Myers was arrested Tuesday morning and charged with Homicide, Displaying a Weapon during A Felony, and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.

According to Fort Myers Police, he's responsible for the death of 32-year-old Roger Brazil outside Scarlett's Cabaret on Fowler.

Brazil reportedly got into a confrontation with three men outside the club as they were leaving the club after closing. That fight escalated within minutes, and ended with one of the men shooting Anjos three times. 

He was transported to Lee Memorial Hospital for treatment, where he later died. 

Perez is in custody in the Lee County Jail awaiting his first appearance.
