FORT MYERS, Fla — An arrest has been made in a 2019 fatal crash that claimed the lives of two Southwest Florida sisters.

Florida Highway Patrol Troopers filed a felony warrant for Cezary Bartnicki, 53, of Naples.

On December 7, 2019, Janet, 52, and Ann Wilson, 56, were killed in a car accident on Daniels Parkway.

The crash caused one of the cars to go through a guardrail, and then crashed into a ditch.

Both women were killed.

Troopers announced Wednesday that Bartinicki is now charged with two counts of vehicular homicide.

Investigators say he was speeding and hit the sisters' car.

Bartnicki was arrested in Georgia.

He's now awaiting extradition to Lee County.
