PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. -- Investigators say thousands of dollars worth of concrete slabs had to be re-poured due to a case of serial vandalism along Harbor Boulevard.
54-year-old Kenneth Callow has been arrested in the case, and now faced three felony charges of Criminal Mischief.
According to the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office, construction crews found that several concrete sidewalk slabs in the 3000 block of Harbor Boulevard were found to have variations of the initials "KC" carved into freshly-poured slabs overnight.
The construction crews were forced to replace the slabs at a cost of $1,500-$2,000 each, for a total of $12,000.
Surveillance cameras at the scene were able to capture the latest incidents on video, allowing deputies to identify Callow as the suspect.
