LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- An early morning armed robbery at a Lehigh Acres store Monday has authorities searching for clues.

According to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers, just before 4 a.m., the suspect, who was wearing all black clothing and a mask, entered the Walgreens located at Homestead Road and Leeland Heights Boulevard/Alabama Road.  

While pointing a long gun at the store employee, he demanded that the register be opened and all the cash inside turned over to him.  In fear for his life, the employee complied and the suspect left in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of cash.

This is the 2nd time this Walgreens has been the subject of an armed robbery this month.
