Armed robber targets Fort Myers store, takes off with cash

Authorities need help identifying the person who held employees at gunpoint during a robbery, Friday night.

At 8:20 p.m., Lee County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to an armed robbery at A&E La Numero, located at 11530 Cleveland Avenue. 

Employees say the the suspect entered the store and used a table to jump a partial wall.

The suspect is accused of using a black pistol at the victims and demanded money. Once he got the cash, the suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction.

Authorities described him as possibly a Hispanic male, with light green eyes, approximately 5'8", and weighing 160-170 pounds. He wore black clothing, a black ski mask and black gloves with gray tops and red palms with no design.
