LEE COUNTY, Fla — A press conference will be held Wednesday morning to announce the conclusion of the Zachary Tyler Martin-Polsenberg case.

The 16-year-old was at football practice when he collapsed on the field while running drills.

He died as a result of a heat stroke in 2017 and his family filed a lawsuit against Lee County Schools, the Riverdale football coach, and Lee County EMS.

Investigators ruled his death an accident and said it was caused by hyperthermia due to heat exposure.

The press conference will be held at Aloia Roland.

Aloia, Roland, Lubell & Morgan, PLLC senior partners, Ty Roland and Evan Lubell will all be a part of the presentation.

His mother, Laurie Giordano, will also discuss the progress she has made through the Zach Martin Memorial Foundation.
