PUNTA GORDA, Fla. -- Discount grocery chain Aldi is preparing to continue its rapid nationwide expansion by opening its newest store in Punta Gorda this month.
The new store will hold an official grand opening on September 20th at 8:25 a.m. at the brand new Jones Loop Road store.
The ribbon cutting will be followed by its popular Golden Ticket giveaway, offering gift cards to the first 100 customers. Shoppers can also enter a sweepstakes for a chance to win a year’s supply of ALDI produce through Sunday, August 23.
Aldi currently has more than 1,800 storesin 35 states and is expanding to 2,500 stores by the end of 2022.
In Southwest Florida, there are already two stores in Naples, plus stores in Fort Myers, Lehigh Acres, Cape Coral, and Port Charlotte.
