NAPLES, Fla. -- The Humane Society Naples has been working on rescuing animals from storm-affected areas of the Florida panhandle, and they need to make space for the incoming animals.

They have announced that an anonymous donor has made it possible for them to offer 50 free adoptions, effective immediately and running through October 24.

The next 50 adoptions will only cost $25.

The shelter is expecting more than 100 animals to be transported to their no-kill shelter. Some of those animals were already in shelters prior to Hurricane Michael, but will be transported to make space for lost animals following the monster storm that battered the Panhandle.

Adoptions can be made at the main shelter at 370 Airport-Pulling Road in Naples, or at their Coastland Center mall location on Tamiami Trail.
