LEE COUNTY, Fla. — A 66-year-old man was headed westbound in the parking lot of a 7-11 located on Grande Oak Shoppes Boulevard when he suffered a possible medical episode while driving, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
FHP says a second vehicle was properly parked in the parking lot when it was hit by the man. He then backed up and pulled into an open parking space.
FHP says he was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
