NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. -- An overdose death in a North Fort Myers neighborhood earlier this year led to an investigation that resulted in four drug-related arrests this week.
According to the Lee County Sheriffs Office, the overdose death happened in January in the 8200 block of Everhart Drive in the Suncoast Estates neighborhood.
In the following months, citizen complaints came in about drug activity at the home.
Following several undercover drug buys at the home, a residential search warrant was obtained and served on Wednesday, where investigators seized: 16.38 grams of crack cocaine, 21.77 grams of heroin, 14.09 grams of methamphetamine, 0.65 grams of marijuana.
Four people were arrested during the search:
25-year-old Alexandra Berman, charged with possession of heroin
34-year-old Tasha Wyant, charged with possession of marijuana under 20 grams
54-year-old Christopher Gloster, charged with possession of cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine
41-year-old Joseph Mayes, charged wtih sale and possession of heroin
