GLADES COUNTY, Fla. — The Glades County District confirmed three Moore Haven Middle High School students have tested positive for COVID-19 following an epidemiological investigation completed by the Florida Department of Health.
Superintendent Kim Jordan says that the district sent home 93 students and 22 faculty members in an abundance of caution. The faculty number also includes coaches.
The school is being cleaned, disinfected, and sanitized this weekend.
Superintendent Jordan says football and volleyball games have been postponed until further notice.
School officials are considering safe and appropriate educational options.
