FORT MYERS, Fla.  - On Monday, Lighthouse Bay Charitable Foundation (LBCF) presented a $24,000 check to Shoes That Fit.

"We can outfit kids head to toe with that amount of money. Each year we outfit between 4-700 kids from back to school. This amount of money will help us tremendously," said Pam Leggett from Shoes That Fit.

Shoes That Fit is an organization that helps kids from underprivileged families by providing them with shoes and clothes.

"We feel that it's really important that children go to school comfortable and with pride," said Rick Bazille, LBCF representative.

The individual schools that Shoes That Fit supports determine which children are most in need. The two schools the money will go to this year are Three Oaks Elementary and Bonita Springs Elementary.
