165 gallons of paint spilled in I-75 crash in Charlotte County

PUNTA GORDA, Fla. – Interstate 75 in Charlotte County is back to normal after a truck rollover caused a mess in the median Thursday night.

Florida Highway Patrol says a pickup truck towing a trailer rolled over around 7 p.m. near mile marker 158. That’s near the Tuckers Grade exit in Punta Gorda.

The crash caused approximately 165 gallons of paint to spill, blocking one lane of southbound traffic.

Troopers say one person was injured in the crash and taken to the hospital.

No word on their condition or what caused the crash.
