CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. -- Deputies are asking the public to be on the lookout for a developmentally challenged teen who went missing Sunday in Port Charlotte.
15-year-old Sage Cambron was last seen around 11 p.m. Sunday at her home on Hemenway Avenue in Port Charlotte.
She was wearing green pajama pants and a green short with green/yellow sneakers. She departed her residence by unknown means sometime during the night and was discovered missing at 6:30am Monday.
Authorities say Sage is autistic with an academic mentality of a 5-year-old.
She may be in the company of her biological parents, Brenda and Christopher Cambron, driving a 2005 black Honda Civic 2-door bearing Florida tag EKA-I65.
She resides with a foster parent in Port Charlotte.
