11-year-old says says two men approached her on way home from school in Naples

NAPLES, Fla. -- Collier County deputies are conducting extra patrols in a Naples neighborhood where a girl says two men asked her to get into their car.

It happened around 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 11th in the Berkshire Lakes community. That's off Radio Road near Santa Barbara Boulevard.

According to the sheriff's office, the 11-year-old says she was walking home from the school bus near the intersection of Belville Boulevard and Lambton Lane.

She says a white 4-door car approached her and with two men she did not recognize inside. She says the passenger told her to get inside, but instead she ran home and told a family member.

Detectives said the driver is described as white, in his mid-40s, with brown hair and no facial hair. A clothing description was not available.

Deputies said the passenger is described as Hispanic with dark skin, black hair, brown eyes and chubby cheeks. He spoke with an accent and was wearing a green polo shirt.
