Shots rang out at a Fort Myers hookah lounge early Sunday morning, leaving one person injured, the Lee County Sheriff's Office said in a statement.
Deputies say they were at an unrelated investigation in the area of Lions Hookah Lounge on Cloverleaf Court when they heard gunshots shortly after 3:30 a.m.
One person, a female, was struck, LCSO said.
She was brought to a local hospital where she was treated and later released.
