Whether its funnel cakes or fast rides, the Lee County fair delivered on Thursday.  Gearing up for it's final weekend, thousands enjoyed rides, crafts and livestock.

"Enterprise, Zype, Zipper, and the Wild Call," said Caitlyn, as she rattled off the names of rides she had been on.

But the fair isn't just about roller coasters.  Hundreds of handmade crafts, from quilts to hats were on display, with the winners taking home a cash prize.

"There are hats that people brought in and decorated however they wanted," said volunteer Betty Gould.

She encourages everyone to enter projects next year.

A livestock competition was a draw for 4H and FFA students around Southwest Florida.  Amy Barley took home top prize for her steer.

"It just means I that I raised one of my steers, he was born out of my cow at my house."

But her steer almost didn't make it to the show.

"He was licking between the tire and the body of the truck and his head got stuck!"

The fair runs until Sunday evening, there will be a live stock auction at 2:00 pm Sunday.
