The Lee County Sheriff's Office is searching for the suspect or suspects responsible for a shooting late Friday morning in Lehigh Acres.
Deputies confirm the shooting happened just after 11:30 a.m. near the intersection of West 12th Street and Williams. We're told one person was shot and is in critical condition. No other details about the shooting have been released.
Deputies have blocked off an area around Richmond and 11th St. to allow for a med-flight helicopter to land. There is also a perimeter around where the shooting happened as deputies search for the suspect or suspects responsible for the attack.
