LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- A San Carlos Park man has just been arrested in connection with a deadly wrong-way crash on Interstate 75 that happened six months ago.
46-year-old Brian Canfield is now charged with DUI Manslaughter, Vehicular Manslaughter, DUI Property Damage, and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Canfield is accused of entering the opposite lanes of I-75 on August 7th, 2016 and plowing straight into a car driven by 34-year-old Anne Shirley of Madeira Beach, who later died from her injuries.
