The Collier County Sheriff's office is investigating a homicide involving a 24 year-old Naples man.

Larimar Webbe was found dead at a home in the 3300 block of Golden Gate Blvd Sunday morning.

Sunday afternoon, a Collier County Deputy remained on the scene to guard the entrance gate of Big Cypress Elementary School which was only a few feet away from the crime scene.

"I was just riding by and as I got closer I seen a helicopter and didn't really think much of it," said Nick Henry

He rides his bike past the home on his way to work each day. Henry told Fox 4, he never imagined the home would be at the center of a crime scene.

"There's a school right next to it too.  Granted, school's not in right now, but for someone to have the nerve to do something that close to a school that's what makes me nervous," said Henry

It's not clear what happened on the property, but detectives tell us 24-year old Larimar Webbe of Naples was found dead at the home Sunday morning.

How he died; or what led up to his death hasn't been released by authorities.

"Whether it's premeditated or spur of the moment for something to happen knowingly that close to a school it really makes you think," said Henry.

An arrest has not been made yet. Deputies say the public is not in danger, as this appears to be an isolated incident.
