Police in Fort Myers have surrounded a unit at Gulfstream Isles apartments after witnesses report hearing a gunshot.
The scene developed just before 6 p.m. at the complex located at 1601 Red Cedar Drive in Fort Myers.
Witnesses say one shot was fired and that someone inside one of the units is reportedly refusing to come out. Several patrol cars are inside the complex working the very active scene.
Fox 4 has a crew there and is working to get more information.
