A group of people turned heads Saturday as they protested circumcisions on young children.
This was on U.S. 41 near Winkler Avenue.
The group says boys should have the right to choose once they are older if they want to undergo the procedure, and it shouldn't be up to the parents to make the decision.
In a Facebook Live video, they say they've faced more hostility in Fort Myers than other places they've protested. "We will persevere. Do not give up. We do not quit. We know we will run into hostility here in Fort Myers. It feels like we're in enemy territory."
The organization "Blood Stained Men" will be traveling the state. They were previously in Miami and Fort Lauderdale. They moved on to Bradenton on Sunday and have fifteen more demonstrations scheduled on their 19-day tour of Florida.
