COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. - Governor Rick Scott is meeting with Collier officials Monday morning in a Zika roundtable discussion.
The talks, set for 10 at the Collier County Health Department, are used to help counties prepare for the spread of the virus.
During the last few roundtable discussions throughout the state, Governor Scott has used those to announce new non travel-related Zika cases in those counties.
As of now, there are no such cases in Collier.
The Centers for Disease Control says there are now more than 3 dozen non travel-related Zika cases in the state, mainly in the Miami area.
There are 15 cases of travel related Zika cases throughout Charlotte, Collier and Lee counties.
