CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. -- A second airline is now flying through the Punta Gorda Airport.
The airport Monday celebrated the inaugural flights to and from the area on Frontier Airlines.
The destinations include Chicago, Philadelphia and Trenton, New Jersey.
The following non-stop flights are scheduled:
- 8:15 a.m. Chicago O’Hare to Punta Gorda; 1:10 p.m. Punta Gorda to Chicago O’Hare (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays)
- 4:20 p.m. Philadelphia to Punta Gorda; 8:10 p.m. Punta Gorda to Philadelphia (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays)
- 6 a.m. Trenton to Punta Gorda; 10:15 a.m. Punta Gorda to Trenton (Mondays Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays)
Frontier is the second airline service to provide nonstop service for passengers at Punta Gorda Airport. Allegiant Air offers nonstop service to 30 cities across the U.S.
