LEE COUNTY, Fla.- From first date to serious danger. A Collier County teen was severely beaten, car jacked and apparently set up by a 14-year-old girl he met on the social media app "Kik".

20-year-old Raul Garcia and 19-year-old Lancelot Delapenha along with the 14-year-old girl were charged with carjacking without a weapon or firearm. It is a felony charge.

The teen told detectives he took the girl to the movies on November 7th. On their way home to Immokalee, the girl asked if the teen could pick up some of her family in Lehigh Acres.

The teen told detectives when he picked the two men up, they were standing on the side of the road. After he started driving again, he stated one of the men began choking him while the other repeatedly hit him in the face.

The 16-year-old was eventually able to escape. He told detectives that at first, his date jumped out of the truck with him but then went back with the attackers and drove off. A passerby helped the teen call 911.

Documents showed that detectives obtained the 14-year-old's cell phone and found evidence in her Facebook Messenger. She had conversations with one of the suspects before and after the incident. One of the men telling the girl that if her date didn't "drive his homeboy home" then he would rob him.

After the carjacking the girl messaged the suspect stating that they "really messed him up" and asked "what did you do with the truck?"

The truck was found days later abandoned and out of gas in Fort Myers.
