FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Due to Hurricane Matthew, Florida Gulf Coast University if canceling all FGCU classes, events, and regular operations for Thursday, October 6 and Friday, October 7. The cancelations apply to FGCU's main campus as well as all off-site locations.
All Student Housing and SoVi Dining will remain open.
Only FGCU - designated Essttional Personnel employees should be on campus Thursday and Friday.
FGCU will reopen for all operations - including for regularly scheduled classes - on Saturday, October 8 unless otherwise notified.
Should additional announcements be necessary, they will be provided via media advisories, emails, and announcements on the FGCU website.
