LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- A number of complaints from nearby businesses and residents about possible prostitution activity at massage parlors spurred investigators to conduct a operation this week leading to the arrest of eight Lee County women.

According to the Lee County Sheriff's Office, a Massage Parlor Operation was launched Wednesday, led by the Narcotics/Vice Unit.

As a result of this operation, eight women were arrested on charges ranging from solicitation of prostitution to unlicensed massage therapy.
