FORT MYERS, FLa. -- The recent shootings around the country involving police and black men have caused widespread discussions on race, safety and gun control. The Dunbar neighborhood in Fort Myers is one of the primary locations the Lee County Task Force monitors. The Task Force is a joint operation aimed at battling crime by combining the Lee County Sheriffs Office and Fort Myers Police Department. Children who attend the Quality Life Center, many of which live in Dunbar, spoke with FOX 4's Malcolm Johnson about the country's widespread violence.
