CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. -- Investigators have released a more detailed description of the truck they say hit and killed a 14-year-old boy on a bicycle last week and fled the scene.
The updated possible description is a silver, or light color, 2003 to 2006 Chevrolet pickup truck; possibly a Silverado with either an extended cab or crew cab. The truck likely has damage to the driver side headlight / bumper area and possible damage to the windshield. The truck is also possibly lifted and may have a chrome tool box in the bed of the truck.

Troopers say that on Friday night, an unidentified driver crossed the center line of Sheehan Drive and struck 14-year-old Devin Federly as he rode his bike Federly died at the hospital from his injuries. The driver of the truck fled the scene.
