A 79-year-old man is arrested after driving into a pre-existing crash scene, hitting two patrol vehicles and then hitting the already crashed vehicle and the tow truck that was loading it.
Police say it happened around 10 p.m. Wednesday night on Del Prado Boulevard.
The vehicle driven by Eugenio Pepe came upon the scene and struck an officer's patrol vehicle, pushing it into the other vehicles path. The driver then continued striking the already crashed vehicle as well as hitting the tow truck that was loading it.
Pepe was arrested for four counts of reckless driving with property damage, and transported to the Lee County Jail.
