LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- One of the two mean charged in the murder of Bonita Springs Dr. Teresa Sievers was formally arraigned in Lee County on Monday.
Curtis "Wayne" Wright, who did not appear in court, is charged with second degree murder by "bludgeoning Dr. Sievers, or inflicting severe blunt force trauma."
Wright's original arraignment was delayed for two weeks after prosecutors asked for more time to go through evidence.
Wright's attorney has since entered a not-guilty plea on his behalf.
He is due back in court on December 30th.
Jimmy Rodgers, the other suspect in Dr. Sievers' murder, is currently serving time in Missouri on an unrelated charge.
