LEE COUNTY, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health and Lee County government have announced that the reservation line for COVID-19 vaccinations has CLOSED. The 5,000 vaccine doses available this week have been scheduled.
The appointments come after the county came under fire for the way it handled the initial vaccinations.
Vaccines were given initially on a first-come, first-serve basis that led people to wait for long periods outside.
Today the Florida Department of Health tweeted some pictures of a much different scene than last time.
