NORTH PORT, Fla.-- Police in North Port are taking social distancing guidelines seriously.
Governor DeSantis banned large gathering due to the Coronavirus, and police say this applies to parties in the woods.
North Port Police posted the following message on Facebook, saying they will step up enforcement in the area of Yorkshire to stop people from gathering in the woods nearby.
Governor has banned gatherings of 10 or more due to COVID-19. Big surprise, it includes getting together in the woods. We’re stepping up patrols in the Yorkshire area.
