NAPLES, Fla. — The Naples Zoo is bringing wild encounters to your home with lessons and activities you can watch online.

You can bring the adventure indoors by visiting the Zoo's YouTube and Facebook page.

Each week on YouTube, they post new videos of staff explaining different zoo animals at the park.

They also post fun activities you can do from home, like making lion masks.

The online program is called Keep Learning Alive.

“Whether it’s about trees or animals, we just really want to keep the kids connected and learning. We know it’s really hard to stay inside right now, so through our videos they have a chance to get out side and see what’s going on at the zoo. You also hear from our keepers and our horticulture staff about all of the hard work that they’re putting in even though the zoo is closed right now," said Courtney Jolly, with the Naples Zoo.

Every Mondays and Fridays, they are also going live from their Facebook page.

The Naples Zoo says their closure has costed them more than $1 million loss in earned revenue. They've initiated an emergency operating fund, where people can donate online.
