LEE COUNTY, Fla. — Lee Health’s Dr. Antonuci says it is a dire situation, and everyone needs to stay home.
Lee Health is asking leaders to put measures in place to help slow the spread.
Lee Health also said they would be able to open 216 new beds at Gulf Coast Medical Center.
They have confirmed the latest number of deaths is five related to the Coronavirus.
They currently have 14 COVID-19 patients isolated in our hospitals. Nine patients have been discharged.
Lee Health has118 employees quarantined at home.
Three employees have tested positive for COVID-19 after being exposed at work.
