FORT MYERS, Fla. — Florida Gulf Coast University is holding a virtual commencement for those who graduate this year.
The special ceremony will premiere on May 3rd.
There are about 1,934 potential graduates this year.
They are asking graduating students to upload a photo or short video to a special website.
This content will be combined with a graduation speech by President Martin and other exciting video content to create a virtual walk across the stage for each graduate.
Each graduate will be able to keep this video and share it online in celebration of their big day.
