CAPE CORAL, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health, in partnership with the Cape Coral Fire Department and the City of Cape Coral, will be providing up to 500 free COVID-19 tests in Cape Coral.
The testing site will be located at the Chester Street Resource Center on 4816 Chester Street Cape Coral, FL 33904.
Testing is scheduled beginning at 8:30 a.m. Sunday, July 26, and will continue weather permitting, until 4 p.m. or until all available tests have been administered.
Two drive-thru lanes and one walk-up lane are available.
Tests will be available for anyone 18 years of age or older.
There is no fee for the test, and no appointment or doctor’s order is necessary.
Children will be referred for testing to the Florida Department of Health in Lee County.
