LEE COUNTY, Fla. — The City of Marco Island is urging visitors and vacationers to stay home.

While they normally enjoy visitors during normal times, to stop the spread of COVID-19, they are asking them to stay away.

If there are current vacationers already there, they are asking them to follow CDC guidelines.

And if you are planning to visit for recreation, please don't.

They are asking Landlords with vacation property to cancel all bookings.

Due to local, state and federal restrictions, our bars are closed, dine-in restaurants are closed, public access to the beach is closed, public facilities are closed, and in general, our resources on the island are limited.
