A 6-year-old girl from Hillsborough County has become the youngest person to die from Covid-19 in Florida.
According to the Florida Department of Health, her death was counted on Friday.
It's not clear how she contracted the virus, or if she had a pre-existing condition.
As of Saturday, eight children under 18 have died from the virus, and there are 47,931 cases in the state.
