Cooler temps impacting Python Challenge

FLORIDA -  We're only five days into the 2016 Python Challenge, and already Florida Fish and Wildlife officials say that 17 of the big snakes have been caught.

The recent cool weather has made it easier for hunters to find the slithering serpent because they become lethargic when the temperatures drop.

Biologists say that the invasive species of snake numbers in the thousands, and are to blame for a steep decline of native wildlife in the everglades.
