NAPLES, Fla. -- New details about a social media scare at Pine Ridge Middle School in Naples on Wednesday that forced the school to be placed on lockdown.

The district now says it involved worries over possible clown sightings.

Collier deputies says there were no sightings Wednesday, and students were never in any danger.

Over the last few weeks there have been several reports of clown-related threats at schools across the country.  It's happening so often that the FBI is even getting involved.
