Posted

FORT MYERS, Fla. - A Century Link customer claims his telephone line was improperly wired and caused his computer to have a complete meltdown.

And, after a year of getting the run-around on filing his claim, he reaches out to four in your corner for help.

Last June, the phone stopped ringing after lighting struck Matt Fallon's house.

He claims photo's show the lines were not properly grounded, creating a power surge that destroyed his computer.

Fallon filed his claim with a third party vendor for Century Link.

After not getting anywhere on processing the claim. Fallon asked if Fox 4 could help.

Century Link said they apologized for the way the customer was treated and has now promised to reimburse Fallon for the 2007 price of the computer minus depreciation.
