Police responded to Mayor Marni Sawicki's home on November 1st due to a domestic disturbance.

A report states that Sawicki's ex-husband, Ken Retzer, called 911 saying he smashed a phone on the ground and was leaving the Mayor's home.

When officers arrived, they found the Mayor at home upset.

Officers on the scene told Sawicki that because it was a domestic disturbance, they had to get personal information from her.

Sawicki did not wish to provide any information and called the Chief of Police, according to a report.

Officers then called Retzer to get some information but he also refused to cooperate with the investigation, according to a report.

This is an ongoing investigation.
